APPROACH TO CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY
I encourage socially and environmentally responsible business to invest wisely by integrating sustainability principles into their DNA. I help corporations and their stakeholders implement due diligence processes to foster sustainability within operations, the local context and environment they operate within. Grounded on background scientific research and multi-stakeholder roundtables globally, in collaboration with the United Nations, we developed a model to corporate sustainability that helps corporations achieve the Global Sustainable Development Goals in alignment with the 2030 Agenda. Our model has proved that through key enablers and the accurate sustainability strategy in place, organisations can create impact and add value to both, internal and stakeholders, maximising their branding strategy and reputational capital. |
Approach based on Franco et al (2017)

(Traducción en Español abajo) Versión Español Min: 33:34 Impact: ‘Advancing the role of women in society’: COCO Chanel’s ambition. A critical review of COCO Chanel’s report 2018 in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Strong focus on SDG5 gender equality. GUCCI Sustainability Report: A Critical ReviewClick to set custom HTML

Spanish version below
English: 0.0 - Spanish: 5.2 BLIND FOR LOVE!! - Gucci’s slogan. GUCCI is a luxury brand of Kering Group. In my research I have found that Kering group lacks transparency across the supply chain regarding human rights, modern slavery, child labor, forced labor and disclosure on impact of social and environmental practices. There are no sustainability reports available apart from Kering’s Statement on Modern Slavery Act 2015 and Transparency in Supply Chains and two memos on social and environmental matters. Are we blind for love or simply GUCCI is not reporting as it should?

Is your wardrobe killing the environment?
Versión Español abajo (Revisión Inglés: Min: 0; Español Min: 10:48) This month I reviewed Zara’s Sustainability Report (Indetex). Zara is one of the largest fast fashion brands. According to the Copenhagen Fashion Summit and UN Environment (2018) fashion is responsible for 92 million tons of solid waste. An issue that also links to women’s responsible consumption. Is Zara reporting on and addressing this issue accordingly? Watch the TV show. |
