The International Adviser
I work at the intersection of environmental, social, governance and financial sustainability, advising multilateral development banks, development finance institutions, United Nations agencies, governments, and the private sector across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America. With more than 25 years of experience in extractives, energy, infrastructure, and development finance, I bring an integrated perspective that helps organisations manage risk, make better investment decisions, and create better futures.
I genuinely listen, participate fully, and leave with the real story, the one that shapes recommendations worth acting on at every level, from remote communities to the highest institutional corridors. Every engagement is grounded in evidence and designed to produce measurable outcomes, ensuring that insights become practical actions, stronger decisions, and meaningful, lasting change.
I hold a PhD in Governance, Sustainability and Social Performance from the University of Queensland, Postdoctorate Studies from the United Nations University-Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability and Keio University, and an MBA. I have over 100 published scientific, policy, and technical outputs and conduct business in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Founder of IBF Global Forums I initiated IBF’s flagship gatherings, including the Women Sustainability Forum (WSF), now in its 8th edition, and the International Forum for Better Futures, entering its second edition—as hybrid and in-person platforms to strengthen global collaboration.
